Martyr Soleimani An Inspiration for All Resistance Fighters: Islamic Jihad Official
Yusuf al-Hassayina made the remark while addressing an international webinar on the school of Martyr Soleimani.
The online seminar was held by the International Quran News Agency (IQNA) here in the Iranian capital this morning under the title of “Dignity, Security and Freedom in Martyr Soleimani’s School”.
Lt. General Soleimani, who was the commander of the IRGC Quds Force, Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Deputy Commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and a number of their entourage were killed in a strike by American drones near Baghdad International Airport in the early hours of January 3, 2020, and today marks the third anniversary of his martyrdom.
Hassayina said at the webinar that Martyr Soleimani was a unique example in commanding and in self-sacrifice, adding that the resistance movement in Palestine witnessed a fundamental development thanks to the sacrifices and Jihad of Lt. General Soleimani.
He said with the support of Iran, General Soleimani, and IRGC, and the guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the power of the resistance is growing and making the enemies shiver.
The Islamic Jihad official also said the legacy of Martyrs Soleimani and al-Muhandis and their path in the fields of resistance and Jihad, which is a path of dignity, victory and honor will continue.
The pure blood of the two martyrs will continue to inspire the resistance to move on with victory, he said, stressing that Palestine and the Palestinian nation will never forget the two heroes’ sacrifices and heroism.
Hassayina also quoted Ayatollah Khamenei as saying that thanks to the blood of Martyr Soleimani, the resistance movement has more cheerfulness and hope today.
He prayed for divine blessings for the souls of the martyrs and strength for the Islamic Republic and the resistance front.
Other speakers at the webinar included member of Iran’s Guardian Council Ayatollah Seyed Ahmad Hosseini Khorasani, Damascus University scholar Bassam Abu Abdullah, and Sayed Hussein al-Bakhati, an official with Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU).
Hassan Pelarak, one of Martyr Soleimani’s comrades, delivered a speech at IQNA’s Mobin Studio while the other speakers addressed the seminar via videoconference.
Martyr Soleimani’s school and cause of Palestine, Martyr Soleimani’s school and discourse of resistance, Martyr Soleimani’s school and future of the dominance system, and society-based security in Martyr Soleimani’s thoughts, were some of the themes to be discussed at the webinar.
