Convoy of Pilgrims from SW Iran Leaves for Iraq to Take Part in Arbaeen March

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A convoy of pilgrims from Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan left the Imam Khomeini Port on Sunday to march toward the Shalamcheh border crossing and enter Iraq in order to take part in the annual Arbaeen pilgrimage.

Those in the convoy, named Mashaya al-Hussein (AS), will walk all the way from Imam Khomeini Port to the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) in Karbala.
