Adam Muhammad Ali Ismail has also been given other titles like “nightingale of Quran” and “nightingale of Islam” for his preaching abilities and eloquence, Al-Bawabah News reported.

He is a student in the third grade and studies in an elementary school affiliated to Al-Azhar Islamic Center.

Adam has a style of his own in religious preaching that has been lauded by scholars and Quran experts in Egypt.

His sermons are broadcast on Al-Rahmah satellite TV channel, whose programs focus on Quranic sciences.

The Egyptian boy is also very skillful in recitation of the Quran and has mastery over the rules of Tajweed.

He started learning the Quran at the age of 3.5 and has received many certificates and awards for his accomplishments in the field.

“My father wanted me to become an athlete but I loved the Quran,” Adam says.

He refers to late preacher and orator Sheikh Muhammad Metwalli al-Sha’rawi as his role model in preaching.

Sha’rawi (1911-1988) was an Islamic scholar, former Egyptian minister of Awqaf and Muslim jurist. He has been called one of Egypt’s most popular and successful Islamic preachers, and “one of the most-prominent symbols of popular Egyptian culture” in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.
