Egypt to Host “Arabic Heritage and Islamic Arts” Int’l Forum
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The first edition of an international forum on “Arabic Heritage and Islamic Arts” will be held on October 22 to 24 in Cairo, Egypt.
According to the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), the program will be attended by experts and intellectuals of different countries as well as representatives of Islamic institutes such as ISESCO.
The forum aims to clarify the international concept of Arabic heritage and Islamic arts and to highlight the status of Arabic and Islamic heritage among historical and contemporary heritage.
Strengthening human-cultural values including coexistence among different cultures and religions and defending human’s freedom and dignity are also among the objectives of the forum.
An exhibition featuring technological innovations in Islamic architecture has been planned as a sideline program of the international forum.
