Gaza Tragedies Should Awaken Islamic Nations, Governments

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said Islamic nations and government should be awakened by the occupying Zionists' massacre of the people of Gaza.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the statement on Monday in a meeting with Iran's President Hassan Rouhani and his cabinet members, adding that Muslims should put their differences aside and uphold unity.
His Eminence described the situation in Gaza and the merciless killing of people, especially women and children, there as catastrophic, saying that the Zionist regime exploits the Muslim world's negligence to commit these atrocities.
The Supreme Leader also referred to the stance of President Rouhani and the measures taken by his the government with regard to the Gaza situation as proper.
Elsewhere in his statements, Ayatollah Khamenei underlined contemplating the Quran and seizing the opportunity of the holy month of Ramadan.
Prior to the Supreme Leader's statements, President Rouhani presented a report on his government's activity in the past year.
The president underlined that the government's achievements have been made thanks to the blessings of God and supports by the people and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
