Iranian Qari Recites Quran in Belgrade

An internationally-acclaimed Iranian Qari recited the Holy Quran at the Friday Prayers in Belgrade, Serbia.
According to a report by the Islamic Culture and Relations Origination, Mohammad Masoud Enayati recited verses from the Holy Quran after Friday payers.
The Kowsar Tawasheeh Group from Isfahan also performed Tawasheeh songs at the event in Bayrakli Mosque in Serbia’s capital city, which was very well received by the worshippers and the Friday prayers leader Sheikh Mustafa Yusuf Sepahich.
Also present at the mosque were Iranian Ambassador to Serbia Majid Fahimpour and Iran’s Cultural Attaché Mahmoud Shalouyi.
Enayati and the Tawasheeh group are in Serbia on an invitation of Iranian cultural center in the country on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
After the performances, Sheikh Sepahich in a meeting with Iranian ambassador appreciated the presence of Kowsar Tawasheeh group in Serbia and said the country’s Muslims have good memories of the group’s previous visit to Serbia a few years ago and are happy to see the group back again.
Iran’s Ambassador Mr. Fahimpour in this meeting thanked the officials of the mosque for cooperation with Iranian cultural center in holding such programs.
The Kowsar Tawasheeh group also performed Tawasheeh songs in a program at the Iranian ambassador’s residence in Belgrade.
The programs was held on the 14th day of the holy month of Ramadan on the occasion of Imam Hassan Mojtaba’s (AS) birth anniversary. It was attended by ambassadors of Muslim countries in Belgrade as well as high-ranking Serbian officials including members of parliament and a number of Muslim scholars.
