Qur’an Competition to Be Held in Napervile in Ramadan 2011

In order to help people in our community memorize, and recite the Quran with proper tajweed Islamic Center of Napervile (ICN) in Illinois, USA, has put together a Ramadan Quran Competition for Sunday August 14, 2011.
The competition categories include memorizing Surah Al-Kahf for 22-30 (Adults), memorizing Surah Yaseen for 18-22 (College Students), memorizing Surah Ar-Rahman 14-18 (High School) and memorizing surah Al-Mulk for 10-14 (Middle School).
Judges are highly qualified holding Ijaazahs in Hifdh and Tajweed and will evaluate participants according to the three main categories: Hifdh (70%) and Tajweed (20%), and Adaa( Presentation) (10%) .
Islamic Center of Napervile will also hold a Tahfeezul Qur’an Summer Program from Monday June 13, 2011 to Thursday August 4, 2011 in this center.
