Hazrat Abdul ‘Azim (AS) Int’l Student Festival Planned

The letter of Imam Reza (AS) to Hazrat Abdul ‘Azim Hassani (AS) is the theme of an international festival to be held by the Union of Islamic Associations of Students in the city of Rey.

The custodianship of the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul ‘Azim (AS) will cooperate in the organization of the festival.

“Islamic life style”, “love, Velayat and knowledge”, and “knowing the Imam” will be other themes of the festival.

Students can send their works, including papers, weblogs, ….and online newspaper, to the secretariat of the festival by August 21.

The opening ceremony of the festival will be held on February 5 from 10 to 12 a.m. at Sheikh Saduq Section of the holy shrine.

Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Javad Haj Aliakbari, representative of the Supreme Leader in the Union and Salimi, cultural deputy of the holy shrine, will participate at the program.

The international event will conclude in a ceremony on September 14 to be held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
