Iranian Qari Dies of Heart Attack

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Seyed Mehdi Hosseini, an Iranian Qari and teacher of the Quran, died of heart attack at the age of 43.

 

Hosseini, who lived in the southern province of Bushehr, was a cofounder of the Mi’raj Tawasheeh group.

His father, mother, and several other members of his family are also Quran activists and teachers.

Hosseini won several titles in national Quranic competitions in the categories of recitation and Tawasheeh.

A number of Quranic officials have issued messages of condolences over the death of the Quran reciter.
