According to IQNA’s branch in South Africa, the new Quranic centers were opened with the participation of Ayatollah Husseini Qazvini, director of Velayat International Network and seminary lecturer, Hojat-ol-Islam Esma’il Pirniya, representative of the international university in Madagascar and a number of clerics, scholars and intellectuals from Madagascar and Mayotte Island of France.
Speaking at the program, Ayatollah Qazvini talked about the importance of the Holy Quran and the role it plays in human salvation.
Ala’uddin Tabatabaiee, Quran reciter, and Ms. Hafsa, student of Tahura School were selected as director of Imam Sadeq (AS) School's Dar-ol-Quran center and the women’s branch of the Dar-ol-Quran of Tahura School respectively.
An official with Al-Mustafa International University said in a statement that the centers have been set up with the purpose of developing the elevated teachings of the holy book in the country particularly among the youth via organizing more Quranic sessions as to science and religion.
