Islam Guarantees Human Salvation
-- Islam is the most perfect religion that provides plans for human life in both this world and the hereafter, Iran Cultural Attaché in Sierra Leone said.
Mohammad Reza Ghezelsofla added that the way for every one to attain salvation both in this world and the hereafter can be found through belief in the teachings of Quran and Ahlul Bayt (AS) and following them as the real examples of Islamic teachings.
“Real faith is the belief in heart which can be proven through practice; a faith deeply rooted in heart will manifest itself in human deeds, since a good deed results from real faith.”
Mr. Ghezelsofla also explained some of the aspects of Imam Hussein’s (AS) character as well as his uprising and the following events in Karbala which resulted in freedom, sacrifice, courage and dignity.
Iran Cultural Attaché delivered his speech during the second part of the sermons of Friday prayer on July 24, which was attended by a number of Muslims of the country in Freetown’s Forghan Mosque.
