He made the remark while opening a two-day Arab League-EU Summit in Sharm al-Sheikh on Sunday.
Sisi further referred to terrorism as the main challenge to security in the world, calling for a comprehensive international ground to encounter terrorism and extremism.
He also stressed the need for adopting a unified approach to preventing financing of terrorism.
The theme of the summit, attended by presidents, prime ministers and foreign ministers from 50 Arab and European countries is “Investment in stability”.
Among the participants are British Prime Minister Theresa May, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Iraqi President Barham Salih, and Saudi Arabia’s King Salman.
