Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque in Northern Cyprus
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque is a mosque in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus. Dating back to the late 13th century, the building was used as a Catholic cathedral until 1571 AD when it was converted into a mosque following the Ottoman Empire’s capturing of Famagusta.
