Over 14,000 Pupils Register for Quran Contest in Qatar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The number of applicants for the 57th Holy Quran school competition for students in Qatar has surpassed 14,000.

 

Those signing up for the competition are students from all levels in public and private schools of the Persian Gulf Arab country, GTimes reported.

The competition, organized by Qatar’s Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs in co-operation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, opened registration for schools in mid-October, and closes on February 11.

The organizers have called on the local and resident students to quickly register and prepare for the competition, which will be held in February.
