Quran Teacher Training Course Underway in Indonesia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine has organized the 14th edition of a Quran teacher training course for women in Jakarta, Indonesia.

According to Qaaf news agency, 25 Quran activists from different parts of the country have participated in the Quranic program.

Mustafa Tayi, Muntadhar Mansouri and Mohammad Baqer Mansouri, top Quran teachers, supervise the course.

The participants get acquainted with Tajweed principles and methods of Quran memorization, and memorize some Surahs of Quran.

The branch of the Dar-ol-Quran Center in Indonesia has so far organized various Quranic courses in different provinces of the country and trained more than 300 Quran teachers.

Opened in Indonesia three years ago, the branch of the center aims to hold Quranic courses particularly Quran memorization programs for children.

More than 200 girls and boys have taken Quran memorization courses of the center so far.
