Egypt’s Port Said to Host Int’l Quran Competition
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The first edition of an international competition on Quran memorization and Ibtihal will kick off on March 16, 2018, in Port Said, Egypt.
According to msry.info, the Port Said Governorate will hold the competition in cooperation with the National Media Association of the country.
Representatives of a number of Arab countries will take part in the contest, which will run for one week.
The 15th edition of Egypt’s "Al-Faaizun” national Quran competition will also be organized on the sidelines of the international event.
Various media networks of the country will broadcast the Quranic program, which is annually held with the participation of hundreds of Egyptian youth.
