Speaking at an international interfaith conference in the city of Pec, Atifete Jahjaga said Kosovo has relied on religious tolerance since the end of the war with Serbia.
She said relations with neighboring countries are based on coexistence and tolerance as well as respect for religious freedom.
Kosovo’s Mufti Naim Ternava also addressed the conference, saying that all messengers of God have come with a single mission.
He urged that followers of all faith should move away from division and work for peaceful coexistence.
The conference was held on Friday, May 24, with the participation of a number of religious and political figures.
