Insulting Divine Prophets in Mobile Games
A new game for android mobile models blatantly desecrates the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and Prophet Jesus (AS).
According to lessentiel website, the new game presented in the list of Google Play has angered Muslim and Christian users.
In this game dubbed “Holy War”, the two messengers of God are depicted as fighting devils of hell.
According to the Googleplay regulations, offering insulting software is banned but this game has not been removed from the site after a month.
In response to criticisms from users and their demand for the removal of the game, its producer has been quoted as saying that “there is no censorship in arts. This software is a clear example of free arts. Those who think it desecrates their sanctities can refuse to download it” (!)
This comes after the introduction of another insulting game dubbed “Angry Prophets”. In that game which imitates the famous game Angry Birds, there is a stage in which players are required to destroy mosques.
