Quran Education Should Be a Continuous Process

Head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization said Quranic education should be a gradual and continuous process.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Mohammadi made the remark at the closing ceremony of Isra Quran competition, urging Quran instructors to follow the mission of the messengers of God in guiding human beings.
He underlined the importance of reciting the Quran and said the best kind of Quran recitation is one in which the Qari practices Khushu (humbleness).
He urged Quran memorizers to learn the Quran by heart based on knowledge, awareness and contemplation.
Head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization underlined that those who are familiar with the Quran but do not act upon the teachings of the Holy Book actually do injustice to themselves.
The closing ceremony of the second Isra National Quran Competition was held on Friday at the Kowsar Hall of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.
Garousi, who heads the Quran TV, as well as a number of other Quranic officials were also present at the program.
